Stories of Impact

Discover how young leaders are turning training, seed funding, and collaboration into real change.

Through the WYDE Accountability Hubs project, 40 young leaders from 23 Sub-Saharan African countries designed and implemented initiatives, ranging from improving public oversight to creating platforms for dialogue between citizens and institutions.

These Stories of Impact document their journeys. Based on interviews with the young leaders and insights from their project reports, the stories highlight the ideas, challenges, and achievements behind each initiative.

Together, they show how young people are contributing to stronger democratic accountability in their communities.
