In a year marked by growing division, conflict, and uncertainty, the Kofi Annan Foundation continued to invest in what matters most: people.
As our world is increasingly defined by division, it can be easy to lose sight of progress. But progress is happening.
In 2025, the Kofi Annan Foundation supported young leaders working on the frontlines of peace, democracy, and cooperation — from local communities to global platforms.
Our Annual Report shares what that looks like in practice, including:
- Young women in Kenya influencing public decision-making
- Youth-led mental health initiatives expanding across Eastern Africa
- New leaders trained to strengthen social cohesion in Southeast Asia
- Global dialogues shaping the future of multilateral cooperation
Our work in 2025 is part of our broader effort to build more peaceful, inclusive, and resilient societies, and it shows what becomes possible when leadership, especially youth leadership, is properly supported.
As we move into 2026, we are scaling this work — including the Kofi Annan Youth Impact Fund to directly support grassroots initiatives, expanding youth peacebuilding in the Sahel, growing regional leadership networks in Southeast Asia and advancing mental health support for young leaders.
We invite you to explore the Annual Report 2025 and be part of what comes next.
