New Year 2019 – Looking Back and Looking Ahead

At the Kofi Annan Foundation, we look back at 2018 with mixed emotions. While it marked our 10th anniversary, it was also the year we lost our leader and founder, Kofi Annan. We would like to thank all of you who have sent us your messages of support. As one of the young leaders of Extremely Together put it, “Kofi Annan is not the past, he’s the future”.

And so we will continue our work to build lasting peace in a world that yearns for it.

We take this opportunity to share just a few highlights of the past 10 years and offer a brief sneak peak at what lies ahead. From all of us at the Foundation, let us wish you a happy and peaceful 2019.
