Annual Report 2015

A message from Executive Director Alan Doss:

I am pleased to share with you the 2015 annual report of the Kofi Annan Foundation.

Over the last year we have devoted our energies and resources to finding responses to some of the most tenacious problems of our times. Whether it is the challenge of persistent hunger in Africa, elections-related violence, the reform of drug policy, collapsing peace or the threat of violent extremism, we have looked for answers and responses. Through the voice and convening power of Kofi Annan, the Foundation has striven to mobilise the political will that is needed to confront and resolve these challenges.

Our work would not be possible without our partners and funders. Through their professional networks and generous support our small secretariat based in Geneva has been able to reach out and cooperate with a diverse variety of countries and communities around the world. We are happy, therefore, to acknowledge them in the report.

We hope that you will find this report informative. We would like to hear back from you if you have any comments or suggestions on how we can improve the report and, more broadly, your ideas on how we might further strengthen the impact of the Foundation’s work.
