Kofi Annan Lecture Series 2022: Inaugural speaker announcement
Starting September 23rd 2022, the Kofi Annan Foundation, International Peace Institute (IPI), Crisis Group and Open Society Foundations will co-organize an annual “Kofi Annan Lecture Series” in New York, around the time of the high-level session of the United Nations General Assembly. These lectures will focus on issues that Kofi Annan prioritized, including peacemaking, peacebuilding, and strengthening the international system.
“It is easy to admire Kofi’s virtues in retrospect, but it is more difficult than ever for leaders to replicate them in the present.”
