Speaking at the launch of The Elders

In 2007, on the occassion of his 89th birthday, Nelson Mandela announced the formation of The Elders, a group of leaders who seek to contribute their wisdom, independent leadership and integrity to tackling some of the world’s toughest problems.   Speaking at the launch of the group, Kofi Annan called on each and everyone of us to ask, “What can I do?”, to help tackle the challenges we face.
