Mr. Annan talks about his motivation for fighting poverty and climate change

In this short film, Mr. Annan outlines some of the global challenges we face and explains his motivation for working to tackle them.  Stating that it is the impact on people which drives him to address poverty and the threat of climate change, he says: “I travel around the world and see the misery that some people live in, I see the pain, and I see the needs… and yet, with a bit of organisation, with a bit of effort and solidarity we can get a lot done”.
