Biography
Ndugwa Hassan, 31 years old, Uganda. Hassan co-founded the Uganda Muslim Youth Development Forum after surviving the July 2010 Al-Shabaab bombings in Kampala. His work focuses on strengthening imams’ capacities in conflict resolution, the use of social media as a tool to disseminate the Islamic values of peace and tolerance, and outreach towards young people.
