The Kofi Annan Foundation is pleased to announce that Susana Malcorra, former Foreign Minister of Argentina has joined the Board of the Kofi Annan Foundation.
Chair of the board, ElHadj As Sy said: “I am delighted that Susana Malcorra will join me on the board of the Kofi Annan Foundation. Susana Malcorra has distinguished herself in the private sector leading Telecom Argentina, in executive positions at the United Nations, as well as for her country of Argentina. She will bring enormous political and executive acumen to the Foundation’s new board as we press ahead with Kofi Annan’s vision of a fairer, more peaceful world.
“The Kofi Annan Foundation’s importance for our times lies in the organisation’s ability to identify obstacles to peace and good governance and then set about mobilising the leadership needed to overcome them. Today, as democracies and good governance are threatened in many parts of the world, I can’t think of a worthier cause to join” Susana Malcorra said.
