Will I get a receipt with my donation

In order to receive a receipt with your donation, you must enter your email when prompted to in our widget above.

You will automatically receive a receipt from receipts@thegivingblock.com as soon as the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain. This changes depending on the blockchain – you can refer to this guide for estimates and more information. Please note that you will receive a receipt every time you donate with our wallet address to the receipt you enter when generating the address.

All cryptocurrency donations as final. No goods, services or airdrops will be offered in exchange for cryptocurrency donations.

Will my donation be made public?

Only if you want it ot be. In cases where a donor wishes to remain anonymous, such anonymity is respected, and no information on the donor’s identity is shared publicly. However, for the purposes of enabling due diligence on the source of funds, the identity of the funder must be made available to the Foundation’s management. In other words, we need to know who the donor is but nobody else does. Please let us know in the comments (or via email) if you would like your crypto donation to be public or anonymous.
