Alan Doss named Executive Director of the Kofi Annan Foundation

Mr Doss was the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Head of the UN peace keeping mission (MONUC) with the rank of Under-Secretary-General until 2010.
Immediately prior to his assignment to the DRC, Doss was the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Liberia and head of the UN mission (UNMIL).
Mr Doss served in numerous UN assignments around the world over four decades.
